John Cochrane

John joined the Board of Directors of Ivy Hill in February 2017, and was elected Treasurer in December 2017.

His business career spanned over 42 years, including eight years in public accounting with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. and 34 years in financial leadership positions in the property and casualty insurance industry.  Prior to his recent retirement, John served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of PMA Insurance, a role to which he was appointed in December 2011. 

John graduated in 1977 from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.  He resides in Huntingdon Valley, PA with his wife Elisa, and has two sons.
