RICKY

Ricky came to Ivy Hill in the spring of 2023 and fit right in to place as a therapy horse. He is a dark bay Quarter Horse standing 14.2 hh. Ricky was born in 2001 and had a career as a show horse for his beloved family, making him a wise teacher for our riders.  Ricky is a versatile therapy horse; he participates in beginner lead-line lessons and independent trot and canter lessons with our advanced riders.

Ricky’s Fun Facts:

1. Ricky was IEA Horse of the Year before joining us

2. His show name is “La Vida Loca”

3. Ricky can be ridden in all different types of adaptive tack making him a great fit for our para riders
